Air Zoom Victory 2 NIKE

The Victory 2 has been tested and approved by elite middle-distance runners around the world. Designed to meet the demands of top-level athletes, its Air Zoom unit in the forefoot has two chambers. Innovation and inspiration

It all started with Bill Bowerman, Nike's first innovator. He inspired the design details of our Blueprint collection, like the speckled Swoosh logo and the foot sketches on the insole. It's a reminder of how far we've come and an invitation to keep moving forward.

Stability in straight lines

Designed to improve stability, the base provides good support and creates a wider flat surface on the underside of the plate than the original Victory. Two spikes have been removed from the original design, in favour of a four-spike design. The lateral platform has also been raised at big toe level, for greater stability on straights and especially in corners.

Built for speed

The full-length carbon fibre Flyplate is designed to fit snugly around the base of the support system. Its shape and rigidity provide a propulsive feel to keep you on your toes and minimise deceleration. The new plate material is lighter than the previous version.

Ultra-light upper

AtomKnit material, a revised version of Flyknit, for a comfortable, lightweight fit with enhanced breathability. It combines with a new mesh structure and midfoot support cables to create an ultra-light upper.
