Innovation and inspiration

It all started with Bill Bowerman, Nike's first innovator. He inspired the design details of our Blueprint collection, like the speckled Swoosh logo and the foot sketches on the insole. It's a reminder of how far we've come and an invitation to keep moving forward.

Stability in straight lines

The slightly wider midfoot and forefoot than on the previous version improve the feeling of stability on straights and especially on bends. Two spikes have been removed from the original model, in favour of a four-spike design. We've also raised the lateral platform at big toe level, and reworked the heel structure to provide even more stability.

Lightweight and fast

The new full-length plate material is lighter than the previous version. It's also more resistant. Curved design for a feeling of propulsion.

Comfortable and breathable

The woven mesh upper enhances breathability and comfort. The fit follows the shape of the foot. You hardly feel the shoe at all, so you can go even further.
