Maxfly 2 NIKE

Behind the Design

This special model comes from our archives. It was inspired by a legendary Nike employee who was also known as a self-taught, itinerant race photographer. The colours and patterns of the outsole are a nod to the various press cards he obtained over the years.

Tailored for speed

Lighter and more responsive than the previous version, the carbon fibre Flyplate adopts a shape and stiffness designed to provide an exceptional feeling of propulsion. It helps you stay on your toes and minimise deceleration.

Stability in straight lines

The two spikes in the middle of the sole of the original Maxfly have been removed, and the platform has been raised on the side of the big toe. The spikes provide greater stability on straights and bends.
